LAMINATE FLOORS CARE & MAINTENANCE

Laminate flooring is very easy to keep clean and maintain as long as you follow a few simple guidelines. Laminate floors are very hard wearing and by following adopting these simple steps your floor will look good for years to come.

Things you must know about how to take care of your laminate floors:

• Mats should be placed at any doors, one on the inside and one on the outside. This will help stop any unwanted dirt, gravel and moisture.
• When moving any furniture do not pull or push but lift instead. If there is anything that holds liquid resting on the laminate floor, example pet's water bowl, then place a good absorbent mat underneath to soak up any spillages that might occur
• You must never polish, varnish or wax laminate flooring.
• Never clean with abrasives, scouring pads or steel wool.

Everyday Maintenance for Laminate floor

Laminate floors should be cleaned daily, vacuum, sweep or dry mop the floor first to remove any of the dirt that has accumulated. However, some stubborn stains may have occurred unnoticed. A special heavy-duty stain remover is available from our accessories section here

The best cleaning solutions are the ones that come with a spray as they stop you from getting the floor too wet. Make sure you do not leave any moisture on the flooring after mopping. Another great product to use is our Parkett cleaner, a special shampoo for cleaning laminate flooring. Come with 1-litre container .

DIY Accessories

If you are a DIY with a good set of tools to lay your own laminate floors, we may wish to purchase the necessary accessories for us, such as clicseal, laying kit, repair resins, masticol, sealant and polyethylene for backing surface, Check this out with our technical adviser.
